Another poem from Andy White

judy collins’ cats

like monochrome clouds or
mini sheep
judy collins’ cats move quietly

fluffy pillows
crossing carpeted floor

siamese
persian
persian

one black
one grey and
one white

clouds on an afghan sky
scurrying amongst the art

there’s a gap on the wall
where the rothko
used to be

signed photos of
judy and bill
judy and kennedys
judy and louis

wards jostle for space on
shelves and
sideboards
above the moving fluffy pillows

black
grey
white

judy’s monochrome cats
are hungry
expecting rain

clouds
on this otherwise
sunny
new york city day
